This week, it's time to switch to a bit of TV and head over to Netflix, where we will be watching the new show "A Series of Unfortunate Events".

Changes to Film Club over the coming weeks...

As I am going to be out of school on trips and activities, Film Club will change from Fridays to Wednesdays over the next two weeks, so therefore the dates for the next two screenings of Titanic will be:

Titanic

As it's Oscars Season, here at the BIG Friday Film Club we will be screening movies that have won Academy Awards in the past. So to start us off, this Friday we will be watching TITANIC which was released in 1998 and won an astonishing total of 13 Oscars!

The BIG Friday Christmas Special!

With Christmas fast approaching and AMD Day next Friday, we have decided to add some more sessions to the BIG Friday Cinema Social so that we can finish The Grinch!

Film club will therefore take place during the following lunchtimes:

Tuesday 20th Dec

OMG! So Christmas is in like 23 days which means it's time for.... Christmas movies! Woop Woop!

 Here at the BIG Friday Cinema Social we will be watching one of Miss M's favorite movies, The Grinch, starting on Friday 9th December. Bring your popcorn, bring your friends and enjoy in Room 57 at 1:25pm! Remember, get here early as space is limited.

The BIG Media House Competition!

Everytime we complete a film, you have the opportunity to write a review and then submit it into our competition for your chance to win an Oscar, treats and House Points! And if that wasn't enough, the best reviews will be posted onto the blog so that everyone can see your wonderful work! 

 

So for this week, all you have to do is write a review of Edward Scissorhands. It must be a maximum of 1 page long and it can include images if you would like! 

 

The deadline for this review is Friday 9th December - please email submissions to: emccar4@coombe.org.uk with your name and form.
